In many instances more than one agent will work on a particular listing to sell or rent.  Base allows for multiple agents to be added to a listing to create a "team" of selling or listing agents. 


To add more agents to a listing you will need to follow any of these steps: 


1.  For a new property listing, the listing agent or office administrator should start with the listing process: 


  • Open your Base account, 
  • Click on the house icon top right hand corner of your dashboard and start with adding the info of your new property by clicking on the "add listing" button, 
  • Complete the info by following the Steps or pages until you reach step 6 of 7 (Listing Capture: Contacts),
  • Start to type the agents name under the "Link existing contact OR add new contact" heading in the open field, 
  • If the agent is already listed on the system, once you start to type his/her name, it will appear in a drop down list of options, 
  • Once you've selected the additional selling agent by name, click on the second drop down to define whether the additional contact to the listing is a listing agent or a selling agent, 
  • Move to the next step to complete your listing.


2.  If you need to add an agent to an existing listing, simply add a team member by doing the following: 


  • Open your Base account, 
  • Open the listing by going to the list of properties in your database, or
  • Open the listing by entering it's reference number on the dashboard,
  • The mandate information will now open on your screen, 
  • Click on the "contact" item on the right hand side of the mandate summary, 
  • Select a contact in the drop down as per previous step,
  • Once you've selected the additional selling agent by name, click on the second drop down to define whether the additional contact to the listing is a listing agent or a selling agent, 
  • Click on save to save the additional agents that will form part of this listings' team of agents.
